While The King Of Limbs may have been only a shuffle to the side for Radiohead (as opposed to the steps forward they normally take with their albums), it still turned out better than most LPs this year. The final song, “Separator”, starts innocently and almost lulls us into complacency, but just before we start to nod off, Thom’s voice starts echoing and a delicate guitar creeps into the room. Then his voice splits off from itself again and again, while layers of ethereal haze begin their slow journey through our entire body. Best Moment: The eye widening starts with the guitar at 2:31 and it doesn’t let up until the song finally ends.
